Grades K-6 Overview

Religious Education Program Grades K-6

Religious Education classes for Grades K-6 focus on teaching children the basics of the Catholic Faith while giving them an introduction to different types of service.

Please note, children receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in Grade 2. If your child has not received a Sacrament and is past the grade level in which the Sacrament is typically received, please contact Rebecca Gaertner in the Religious Education Office to make arrangements so they may receive the Sacrament(s) they are in need of.

Classes for Grades K-6 are offered Monday evenings at St. James Catholic Parish from either 4:30-5:30PM or 6:15-7:15PM. Classes for grades K-6 are also offered on Tuesday evenings from 4:30-5:30PM. Please note, Kindergarten is only offered during the earlier sessions.
