Staff Member: Tim Lenz
Tim Lenz, Director of Maintenance. I was born on 14 Feb 1959, lived in the town of Vernon and graduated from Mukwonago high school in 1977. I entered the army 3 days after high school graduation, spent 4 years in the regular army, at first as an electrician, then as a construction supervisor. After leaving the regular army in 1981, I joined the reserves for the next 8 years as a construction supervisor, cross trained in heavy construction equipment operation. While in the reserves I worked for a series of amusement vending companies, with a brief stint at Seaquist closures, now known as Aptar. This is where I met my ex wife and married her. We bought a house in Eagle where I live with our three daughters (Kathryn, Kristin, and Melissa) and my grandson, (Tucker, a 1 year old Australian shepard). I have worked for Belinski properties, River Park Place apartments, as a maintenance man, after Aptar. I then came to St. James in 2000, and some will contest this, have worked here ever since. My philosophy is to “do it right the first time” and I live by that, even though as anyone in the military can tell you, that “good enough for government work” was a mantra. When not working at the facility I can be found enjoying the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and arrowhead collecting. It has been a pleasure working for the parish/parishioners in the past and present, and I intend to continue producing for St. James congregation ‘til retirement, they close the doors, or the good Lord takes me. Wait there’s also winning the lottery.
