Father Ed Tlucek, OFM (Franciscan)
Fr. Ed Tlucek is a native of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He made solemn profession as a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Province in 1977 and was ordained as a priest in 1978. Fr. Ed has served in parish ministry in the Diocese of Saginaw, Michigan; Green Bay, Wisconsin; and in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition to parochial ministry, Fr. Ed has served on the staff of St. Francis Retreat Center in Burlington, Wisconsin and as general manager of the province’s printery in Pulaski, Wisconsin. He served as a team member on the Inter¬provincial novitiate and was pastor of Holy Name Parish in Cedar Lake, Indiana for the past 9 years. He moved to Burlington, Wisconsin and presently works in the Provincial Offices of the Franciscan Friars of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Province. The Franciscans were contacted by the Archdiocese after the sudden and unexpected death of Fr. Mick Savio. Fr. Ed will be the temporary administrator of St. James and St. Theresa Parishes until June 2018.
