Music & Liturgy
Adult Choir is open to anyone who enjoys singing and can carry a tune. The choir rehearses on Tuesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Church. The choir sings from September through early June, rotating masses.
Our handbell choir adds a special touch of beauty at weekend and holy day Masses throughout the year. ability to read music is helpful but not required. Age 14 and up
is open to parents and children. This choir is seasonal and sings at Christmas and Easter. Members develop musical skills and learn music in a fun yet reverent atmosphere.
Altar servers prepare for serving in the fourth grade. After completing formal instructions, they are rotated into a server's schedules. Once a student has gone through the preparation and is scheduled to serve at a particular time, that student is responsible for being present, or to find a substitute.
Eucharistic ministers assist in the distribution of Holy communion at all weekend Masses, holy days and other special celebrations of the Eucharistic. There is one instructional meeting and one practice for new ministers. Eucharistic ministers may be men or women and must be confirmed.
Lectors "proclaim" the food news of the Scriptures to the gathered community at all weekend Masses, holy days and other special celebrations of the Eucharistic. Training is provided as needed. Lectors may be men or women.
Ushers & Greeters
Teams of Ushers/Greeters are scheduled on a rotating basis to assist with seating, taking the collections, overseeing the processions to receive Eucharist and distributing bulletins after Mass. A smile, a warm welcome and simple courtesies set the tone for those who gather.
