Kateri Yank is a musician whose journey began with violin lessons at the age of 3 1/2. Born in
Milwaukee, she was homeschooled and studied violin all the way through high school until going on to study music at Ave Maria University in Florida.
Kateri graduated with a major in piano and with minors in organ and voice. She was a music director at St. Raphael Parish in Florida and then after graduating, spent about a year doing mission work at a home for girls, Casa de Niñas Madelaes, in the Dominican Republic. Kateri enjoys gardening, reading, art, exploring, and teaching music lessons, but she especially enjoys creating music that lifts the mind and soul to God.
